Golden King

Hi Maurizio, I recently bought a granite countertop for my kitchen call "Golden King"--yellow with speckles of purple, brown... I've read that lighter color granites are harder to maintain. What is your recommendation on caring for this particular stone? Thanks!

Bonnie:
And who gave you that silly idea??...
Typically, light colored "granites" are more absorbent than dark-colored ones, but if your slab had been resined by the factory or properly sealed by your fabricator, they're just as easy to maintain as they come.
Of course, like with any other natural stone, you need to use the appropriate products, like MB-5 and, optionally, MB-13.
But other than that is smooth sailing! :-)

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?  :-)

Ciao and good luck,

Mauri z io Bertoli
