Film and water marks from grouting

I have a new installation of polished marble (Dynasty Cream) in my bathroom in shower stall and floor. After the contractor grouted there is a film on the tile with water spots. Do you have a product that would remove? Or a suggestion? I am also wondering about whether to seal. I'd really appreciate your help.

Donna:
I sincerely hope that I'm wrong on this one, but I'm afraid that what you have is no grout film. Or maybe it is, but those "water spots" that you're reporting are very disturbing.
With natural stone, all too often the visual of a problem can be misleading.
My best advice is for you not to do a thing until you get hold of a bona-fide stone restoration contractor. If you tell me where you lieve, I may be able to locate one for you.
Answering to your last question, no, you don't need to seal your stone at all. You would have any benefit and in wet environment it is never a good idea.

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?   :-)

Ciao and good luck,
